Expanding on the exchange of Arab and European experiences in
prisons and rehabilitation, and exploring International Standards
for prison management, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences
hosted a seminar in Riyadh titled «Managing Prisons and
Correctional Institutions Operations»

NAUSS Headquarters - Riyadh On Monday, November 13, 2023, at its headquarters in
Riyadh, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS)
hosted the scientific seminar “Managing Prisons and
Correctional Institutions Operations” in collaboration with
the General Committee of Prisons and Rehabilitation in the
Republic of Tunisia and the technical cooperation operator of
the French Ministry of the Interior (CIVIPOL).

In his opening speech at the seminar, Mr. Khalid Alharfash,
NAUSS Vice-President for External Relations, highlighted the
significance of the event, which was attended by Counselor
Imad Al-Awji, Chairman of the General Committee of Prisons
and Rehabilitation in the Republic of Tunisia, and Mr. Gabor
Miller, project director of CIVIPOL. Mr. Alharfash emphasized
that the seminar was organized as part of the strategic
partnership between NAUSS and the General Committee of
Prisons and Rehabilitation in the Republic of Tunisia. This
partnership has fostered various collaborative initiatives,
